Someone Sinister will utilize the scenic offerings of South Carolina as its backdrop, with filming set to take place in locations such as Greenville and Abbeville.
Why is this important to the filmmakers? Greenville is perfectly centered between the film industry's largest leaders: Atlanta is 2 hours to the South, Charlotte is 2 hours to the North, and Charleston is 3 hours to the East. With Greenville being one of the fastest-growing cities in the United States, the team over at Someone Sinister (as well as our team here at All That Is Evil) is eager to take the lead, proving that the Upstate of South Carolina is a viable destination for film production, full of professional and industry-ready crew members.

Jonathan Baty, the Writer and Director of Someone Sinister, is a filmmaker and business owner with over 20 years of experience selling film equipment. He is an innovator who thinks deeply about shot composition, camera movement, and storytelling. He has personally assisted me on many of my projects, bringing to life my ideas and concepts. He is an industry leader and I'm proud to call him a friend.
Did I mention Jonathan Baty is the Pun King? Maybe after this film, he'll be known as The Pun Slayer... or something clever. Should of got him to write this part.

If you are a South Carolina native, then there are quite a few faces you may recognize!
Who needs name talent when you have talent that can make a name for themselves? These actors and actresses are trained professionals who have over and over again poured their hearts and souls out delving into their craft. My only hope is that this is their big break as I have no personal doubts that they will bring it all to the screen.
